Has Anyone Mastered Human Emotions?

We are actually our own enemies. The invisible black shroud that follows us almost everywhere. The black shroud which deliberately does not want to cover the flaws of the past and camouflage the prospects of the future. Mastering to take the shroud away and placing it on the laundry for a cleanse should be the ultimate goal and does require a lot of self motivation and awareness. We are our greatest critic. We all have a shadow self-a side of ourselves that we may not even be aware of-which make decisions that don’t serve us well. The most common approach to dealing with the shadow is to judge it, deny it and hide it from the rest of the world and from ourselves.

Somewhere lost in the Sahara desert of our own black shroud, we often ask for opinions or judgements from our loved ones. Make no mistake we ask for your opinions because we value and love you enough to indulge ourselves in your views. Don’t let your condescending tone belittle our self esteem. The very minute you think you have the right to belittle people just to feed your narcissistic soul, comprehend that you are stepping into the worst reign of humanity. You might be very talented, smart, knowledgeable but your true talents will only reflect through your humility. It is critically important to choose the right people. We think using all the deep layers of our brain when we are trying to foresee an optimal real estate investment , why not do the same when filtering your people ? It is even more crucial because the investment revolves around your innate well being.

A solemn shout out to the ones who are silently fighting their own battles and still molding themselves according to the demands of the world. It is extremely difficult to engage in a social laughter when walls beneath you are crashing down. A shout to the people who wake up with voids in their hearts and scars on their cells. A void that gnaws at their soul like a disease and accompanies them wherever they go, as a quiet mouse and just as ravenous. Could we pick and spot them from the crowd? No. But you know what we can do? We can throw the brightest smile at their faces by simply using altruism as a weapon. By making them feel absolutely fantastic about life, by assuring them they are warriors and they are not alone in this battle.

Life has a habit of getting too weary on you. Don’t take it too seriously. What is actually the purpose of getting too consumed in tomorrow when not a single soul could confirm your presence tomorrow. I am too consumed with the shenanigans of my own heart and yet I forget to appreciate the little dusts of beauty like a soulful song, a heart-warming paragraph, listening to your own heart beats and a perfect blend of tea. Take that crazy trip, drink that extra shot, say the unsaid, make that phone call, apply to that job. It’s your life. It’s your canvas. Paint it with your fingertips.
